DreamGlass® Switchable Glass has been installed for many different purposes across a wide range of industries, but one of the most attractive applications of electric glass may just be in the form of manual sliding doors. This smart glass use is being seen more and more often across the hospitality sector.

In this video, various DreamGlass® instant glass panels have been installed in a ground breaking door system, which allows all panels to be stowed away conveniently when these are not in use. Of course, the use of the electric glass, commonly referred to as ‘magic glass’, also allows the user to control the visibility through the doors.

When privacy is required, each panel of the intelligent glass can be easily placed in its designated spot by sliding it along the frame. Until the electric current is turned on, the electronic glass will be opaque. When visibility to the other portion of the room is desired, the privacy glass can be transformed to a transparent surface with the flip of a switch.
